Works good, however not sure what type of plastic it is. The finish is not smooth like the factory piece, is a very flat black in color, and feels to be lighter in weight.

Fast shipping and good experience. My only disappointment, the next day my item was removed and updated with a newer model. I wish they would have told me and sent the new upgraded version.

Bruised chin aside	July 4, 2016

I got this in the hope that it would keep me from taking quite so many shells to the chin when shooting left handed. It makes clean up easier. All the shells end up a little in front and three fee to your right. It didn't seem to help with taking the shells in the chin though. This might well be that the hold with my sight just makes me come a little too far forward. So depending on your application this is probably a pretty good deal. Hard to beat the price and seems well made.

I was excited to get mine, since I am a southpaw, but have a ton of right handed shooters who would love to shoot my tavor. After swapping our the original part with the Galloway, it still seems to be sending casings back to the 7 o'clock position. I was under the impression that it would be more 9ish.

BPA Response: It depends of the powder load, bullet weight, etc, but you should also experience the deflected shells moving down, more than with the original part. So instead of taking lighter loads (ie 223) off the chin (when shooting from the "weak" side), the deflected shells should be lower, bouncing off the angled face of the GP Shell Deflector.
