Would like to see more application information.  I contacted headworks about what ring/magnifier combinations were tested to make sure that they line up with the Mac Pro light site that comes with the IDF  configuration of the Tavor.  They are working on getting that information back to me.

I think it would be handy for you folks to publish that same information along with the short piece of rail that makes it possible to use the quick disconnect mounted on the IDF  Version of the Tavor.

Great piece to have for your IDF weapon, especially if you don't plan on buying the MEP magnifier.  This opens up all your choices.  Fact is, the rifle just looks better with this there than looking like something didn't get installed properly from the factory.

This product is a must have  for IDF owners. I just think that optic accessory slot really should be covered with something, it looks it something came off out of it when you look at it. This I think is the best solution for that. I really love that QD design.

I made my own to work on the IDF model because I wasn't going to shell out the excessive amount of money that mepro wants for their 3x magnifier. This snaps right in place and gives you the rail you want for a magnifier. Mine snapped in rigid with no slop.

The Gear Head Works IDF Magnifier Rail is a well engineered and manufactured item! Fit and function were spot on - as soon as the Samson 3.5x magnifier/RAM quick flip mount arrives I will see if the height works out; tough getting that kind of info from the manufacturers of the magnifiers. The top of GHW mag rail to the Mepro M21 centerline bore is approx. 1-5/16" - most magnifiers are closer to 1-1/2" so some of the M21 hood (top) might eclipse the top of the magnifier. I will repost after the Samson comes in.
