Great muzzle brake. This is the one thing that KelTec forgot on the KSG. In addition to its function as a muzzle brake, it also functions as a breaching standoff, and helps keep your hands out of the way of the muzzle blast if you should slip while operating the pump slide.

Didn't really notice a reduction in recoil. Added to the cool factor as well as added assurance that if my had were to ever slip off I still have about and inch or so before I turn my hand to Swiss.

i have not shot my gun with the muzzle yet but i cant wait! i only wish it came in a titanium color/finish, so it would match my titanium ksg. i contacted the manufactioner to see if they offered a titanium colored/ finish version, and they suggested to use restolium spray paint and color it myself. i did and it matches much better, a lil brighter than my gun color but still better than the black. very happy cant wait to shot it!

Added some loc-tite when I installed it on the barrel. Looks great! I'll have it on the range this weekend. Will let you know if it softens the recoil. Indoor range, only allows high brass slugs for target practice. First time at the range, I sent 25 down the pipe and had a raspberry on my shoulder for 3 days...fun stuff though!
