5 of 5 A Must Have for a Vertical Foregrip April 5, 2016

Although I haven't fired my new KSG a lot, this metal rail adds enough reinforcement and a safety factor that makes me feel much better about using a foregrip.  I added a Magpul VFG and it makes for a rock-solid addition that looks like it came stock.  Very easy to install.  I had it on in a few minutes.

I had learned of the issue of having a vertical grip without the aluminum rail breaking the plastic rail a while ago so when I found this I was thrilled. Now my KSG looks even more stylish while also being more stable with a new grip. Great experience here and amazing customer service.

This puts confidence in your hands. When running a VG this is a must. Plus gives you a little room for your palm from the slide release when racking the slide back. I just wish the ext. rail was in stock when is ordered, but you can always push it out further if you desire. Light and smooth feel too.

You'd think Kel-Tec would come up with a way to strengthen the KSG fore end picatinny rail themselves.  Have seen stories about broken rails more than a couple times. The proof will be if my rail never brakes. Seems well made with a tight fit. Used Loctite on the screws.
