It was a VERY tight fit on the lower polymer rail.  It does not feel like it sticks down as far as the Magpul XTM hand stop, but it is half the cost and still provides a good hand position index so you don't accidentally short-stroke it.  As an added bonus, I haven't shot my fingers off yet.

Got this as an extra piece incase I did not like the angled grip.  Needless to say, this item hasn't even been out of the bag b/c I love the angled grip.  But it will be a good back up if I ever decided to take the angled grip off.
