I have tried the soft rubber covers because I do have five for the magazines in my case and they just really didn’t seem to fit right and were not conforming to the lips, these covers really fit the lips better and conformed to the actual magazine themselves.

I LOVE this product!!! It's simple and does exactly as it should. It covers the round, open part to keep the exposed round from coming out. It's quite secure. The product is extremely lightweight. One came damaged (this was immediately replaced by their AWESOME customer service) and they didn't need it back. Because it was so light, I torture tested the damaged one I wasn't going to use. This thing is a whole lot tougher than it feels. Despite already having a "tear" or "split" in it, I could not get it to tear any further. I couldn't get it to crush either. This is a great product and perfectly suited to its application. Thanks!!!

Fits just as good if not better than the stock covers that come with the FN factory mags. The thickness of the material is less than that of the stock covers and almost feels flimsy but they aren't going into hard use.  ***  BPA Response:  Glad you like the caps.  And just to note the construction, they are far superior to the factory plastic cap.  The factory cap can become brittle, whereas these caps are a mixture of Carbon-fiber and Nylon.  You can twist, squeeze, etc and they'll still be good to go.  In other words, just throw them in your range bag when not in-use, and they always be ready to go when you need them.  No worrying about them getting deformed, etc.  They're tough!!  ***
